disciplerocks's B2 build thread

Ok, trans mount modded, starter, and doubler installed. Now its just wiring and a driveshaft to make it movable. Still needs some work to the rear axle before its road worthy.

On a side note. I tested the trailer with 1261 lbs of scrap today. It held up fine. Although the suspension is pretty flexy and caused some rubbing with all the weight in it.

Got everything wired up, ecu swapped, vacuum lines and fluid lines ran today. But I ran into a problem. It won't start. Tried swapping back to the manual ecu and bypassing the NSS again, but no luck.

I think the manual starter is part of my problem. Once its starts to get it turning over good, the starter gear slips and misses the flywheel.

You didn't bend the flexplate with the Tc bolts when you installed it, did you?

SVT

you didn't bolt it up backwards ?????

Picked up a starter today. I knew there was a difference. After that she fired right up.

Went ahead and took the doubler back off and disassembled it to check it out. All looks good.

I'll buy your old starter if it's good, I'm gunna need one.

I think I asked this once before, BUT can a double be made backwards to act as a over drive ?!?!?!

IDK. And Jon, I have a pile of parts for you.

Yes it can, but you would have to fab the mounts...
