disciplerocks's B2 build thread

Had a lot of fun at Interlake today. At least until the damn Dana 28 decided to come apart. Cut my day short, but it left enough time to hit up the junkyard for a Dana 35 with 3.73 gears.

that was a B**** to get outta there!

Nah. When you can grab both flanges and turn them in oposite directions with your hands, it doesn't belong in one of my vehicles. It needs to be locked in 4wd or not. None of this control trac bs.

Little update.

Got the Explorer going again thanks to Rick.

Reassembled the Focus thinking I had the low compression figured out, but I guess not.

And the B2 no longer has reverse, but I will be getting slo-vo's A4LD hopefully within the next week.

Awwww, going auto on her....that sucks.

I'll take that a4ld. Lol.

Depending if the gun range is open tomorrow afternoon up there I can bring it with me. If not I'll bring it Monday afternoon.

I work till 6 the next 3 days. Don't have the 2x2 with me today.

That works. As long as you're going to be up here. Hate for ya to make the trip just for me.

Well I did this at work today.

So after 12 stitches and a tetanus shot, I got to go home for the day. Early start to my weekend.

So with the Explorer driving, the Focus waiting on the correct piston rings (was sent the wrong ones), and my buddy's bike rack finished (see below), I needed a project. So I decided to start working on the 8.8 again. This is where she sits right now.

Plans are to swap it out with the tranny. But priority is the Focus at this point. Here's where is sits right now.

good work on the bike rack

In temporarily. Moved 3" back. But that caused my pinion angle to shift and looks like I may have gas tank clearance issues.
