disciplerocks's B2 build thread

i didnt mean to say to get those. but i think you could cut the stock hinges so they are the same design i did it with my doors. that way you would just open the glass and slide it either to the left or right and it'd come off

I'll have to check and see if thats possible.

Okay, I'll shoot for next weekend...What about using a quick-release pin with an E-clip ??
SVT

Yeah I will have to check to see if the pin thats in there can be removed first.

I bet a grinder with a cutoff wheel will say it can come out :icon_thumby:

Hopefully going to look at this today.

Well thats a no go. Its 4wd, which isnt that hard to change, but its also a long bed. I am looking for a short bed. Not bad for $500 if I was in the market though.

Dang wish I could buy it, the front sheet metal would be put on my 89 BII, and the bed would become a trailer to pull behind my 88 ranger super cab.

well just my luck.

Not for a 2wd street truck. I don't need another 4wd.

Sounds like a perfect truck to buy, put a few bucks in. Turn around a sell it

I thought about it. My axles will be out of the B2 soon and could go on there. And I have a set of really nice 32s sitting here. Just don't have the room or funds for it.

Oh and the motor doesn't run. Which I wasn't worried about since I plan on swapping motors anyway.

I would have got it anyways just as a DD seeing how nice the price is, 2wd or 4wd.

Repaired 3 out of 6 bad body mounts today. Also braced up the rear a little (which is what I was doing when i caught it on fire) so maybe the body mounts will do their job too.
