disciplerocks's B2 build thread

What John thinks happened is I busted my seal in the master when I mashed on the brakes. Once I knew I wasn't going to stop, I tried aiming for a tree but I hit an embankment in front of it.

Uploading. I've been home less than an hour.

After getting pulled back over and on level ground, I pulled a plug to check for oil. Then fired her right back up.

On the way back to camp I flexed it out. Does pretty good with the new coils.

OUCH

I don't think that will buff out, that's going to take a bit to fix.

that right there is what I am always worried about. Just a slow flop and there goes the back side window! Oh well glad everyone was ok. How did passenger fair with door off? I also take mine off too and my 9 yr old son CHOP IT!!

Steve

Dont chop it the damage isnt bad enough from what i see to justify it. Just replace the window im not a huge fan of chopped b2s if you want a pickup get a ranger not to mention if it rains it sucks with an open back. Id definetly be caging it thougb

it doesnt look too bad. grab a new fender, try to pull the dents out a bit, a bit of bondo here and there and it'll look fine. body damage is inevitable.

Glad to hear you and your passenger are alright...Time for exocage!!

Glad you're alright. Passenger to.

But those pics break my heart. I don't care how "minor" some say it is-- it hurts!
I mean it's really not super bad. But still

I change my suggestion from chop top to just fix it and run it, the damage isnt too bad at all

I know I already commented you on FB. I didn't know you had passenger I could imagin that with door off. I've was in a flop in a 88 ranger I was the passenger and the door was there and the window was up. We was on back counrty road and my buddy took a corner too quickly slid sideways in some gravel and the rear tire caught the grass on the burm and grabed. The truck floped onto the passenger side broke the window and pushed the mirror into the door. The truck was still running on it side, we both had our belts on and I couldn't get mine off. He kicked the windsheild in and cut me free. I was scared everytime we took a sharp turn for months after that.
