Disable factory theft alarm

Anybody know how difficult it is to disable the Theft system on a 2002 4 litre XLT system ?

Like everything in life, there has to be a way

Do you really want that info out in the open? You may be honest, but others might not be. Some people would like to steal your truck, why make it easy for them?

I am as honest as the next guy but why it would be that bad on a 8 year old truck I don't know. A good friend just had to pay over $600 because he lost his only key and they cut new ones that didn't work but they made him pay because he was far from home (700 miles).

I am just thinking down the line as more and more trucks get older and older that the systems will be breaking down. Ford and the built in obsolescence factor.
