I saw the car in Hot Rod Magazine. In that article, the car was driven from Wichita Falls, Texas, to Bowling Green, Ky., raced at the meet turning a 9.96, driven around Bowling Green, then driven back to Texas with no problems. The owner brought no tools, or spare parts.
According to the article, the engine had a "mild tune," with water/methanol injection, and a "tiny bit of nitrous." Trying to compare this engine with a daily driver, or truck engine is an excercize in futility.
