There is no regulator - he said they were manual windows.I'm not 100% sure, but I think those windows are bolted into the regulator, not riveted. If they are riveted, you are in over your head.
Yes, they are riveted with some aluminum rivets.
Be very careful, tint scratches easily.
I've considered this problem before when I had 20% on my Ranger. The one possible solution that I considered was to have more than one set of doors. (I was thinking three sets - two full and a set of half doors). My idea there was to pin the door hinges so I'd just have to pull two pins and off comes the door. Have one good set with tint, have one set clear glass (maybe do a weight reduction on it or something just for grins), and then the half doors for cruising in the summer.
