i suspect that i have a leaking slave cylinder. I lose hydraulic fluid from somwhere inside the bellhousing but it doesn't leak very bad, i fill the resevior every three days. My question is: Is there another source for my leak. I noticed one day i hit a bump and fluid stated pouring out when i despressed the clutch, it leaked so bad i couldn't get it in gear. Then the truck sat for a week and then all of a sudden It was fine again, well it still leaks a bit but it goes in gear smooth and i add every three days again. Could a loose connection where the line connects the the slave cylinder cause this and if so is there access to repair the line without taking the tranny out. Also if it is a slave can I change it with the trans in if I pull the motor.

Honestly its easier to pull the trans than the motor. How many miles are on the truck? How old is the clutch? Were you having any shifting problems up to this point?
