Is there anyone that can performace program an '86 van computer. Or can I use another more flexable computer w/ same '86 harness? This 302 will be going into my 90 b2, with a little nitrous 50 - 100 hp shot nothing huge.

EEC-IV can be a little tricky to tune.

if it has a J3 port, you can have a chip burnt for your needs...i think bamachips can do this, and im sure there are others. i dont remember what year ford started using the J3 expansion port or if all EEC-IV computers got them.

the taurus SHO crowds use the twEECer, but i see no reason it shouldnt work on any EEC-IV computer. this gives you just about infinite tuneability.

if this is a MAF system, you might be able to "trick" the computer into running properly on the stock tune by having your MAF reprogrammed.

you could also consider megasquirt stand alone.

Naw, Im keeping it speed dencity, if nothing else the 302 has E7 heads. Ill just make some flow adjustments to exhaust side and find a t-bird or early 5.0 lower/upper; just to make it breathe better.
