I have not used this program personally. I have heard it is acurate and i have also heard it sucks. Anyone ever you use it and also had the engine dyno'd to see how acurate it is?

I need to find a place around here that can dyno my truck, but so far no luck.

Well, I have an older version and it's usually off from a true dyno. Even the same engine at the same dyno on different days can be off 10%. What the DeskTop does help with is seeing what a change does to affect the output - basically the same as a dyno. Ever just do a Google search on dyno's? Only one I'm familar with down that way is Ray Skillman's in Indy, only know that cuz here's the biggest seller of Roush's in the country.

Actually i did, I found a chassis dyno in Warsaw, the guy charges 65.00/hr
Now if i can find time time to make it over there. :icon_thumby:

I had my '05' Stang truly dyno tuned to run with the CAI and 87 octane (had a trip planned out West where you can't always get the good stuff). He gave me a funny look and said everyone one else wants all they can get. I told it was my DD and 95% of my driving was down below 3K so that where he put the power, really did make a difference, Good luck, glad you found a spot.
