DeLone: Then, now, and along the way

crazy but i just found a 6 month old pro comp 5 in lift kit for $300 so if i get that i definatly wont have a problem running 31s :headbang:

31's? That's it? I could go 33's before rubbing!!! 35's are what I'd do if I had a 5" lift. :D

honestly I would too but being a high school kid with a limited cash flow, I buy used, so im getting the tires for cheap, and plus, I don't have enough money to regear my truck so... Those upgrades will be further down the road.

Man I'm going to be a senior next year in HS and I just wiped out half of all my money on a parking pass and off-campus lunch. Thank God I have a job at Bojangles' or else DeLone wouldn't be where she is now.

Look what arrived!!!

You have to pay for a parking pass in your HS?? Man that sucks, I didn't pay for a parking pass in my HS or College I attend now.

Parking pass: $170

Off-campus lunch pass: $12

Bragging rights to all of the freshmen: priceless. :thefinger:

I'll be a senior too haha. at my HS its 10 bucks for a parking pass and we don't have to pay anything to go off campus. What kind of muffler is that? I just put on a thrush turbo and it sounds pretty good.

It's a Heartthrob cat-back. I picked it up for $183 :yahoo:

mine was 30 bucks haha but im cheap :icon_twisted:

I wanted a low-restriction exhaust and this just fit my budget soooo well :D

Sharp looking truck man! Nice to see another 4 banger 2WD gettin some love!
and nice story too, seems like u feel the same passion alot of us feel for our trucks.
these arent just trucks, they are a part of ourselves.

do you think you could take a side picture of your truck on flat ground with the wheels straight? the 5 in lift was for a power steering equipped truck and mine is non ps so the pitman arms are different.
I think Ill do pretty much what you did.
How hard was the install and what tools did you use?
Is Fat Bob's garage a website or a real place?
what are the pt numbers for the front shocks?

I'll see what I can do tomorrow.

It wasn't hard at all. I used dimple hand tools (socket, wrench, ect.) and some worthless stuff. With your drop brackets it might be a different story, though.

Both! It's a shop in utah that also sells his stuff online: http://www.fatbobsgarage.com/

what are the pt numbers for the front shocks?

I have no idea.

how bout the model?
the 5 in lift isn't happening because I don't have power steering and the kit's dropped pitman arm is for ps equipped vehicles so the spline count is different :annoyed: that made me so mad haha. so I'm reverting baack to something more basic.
I think I will buy lift coils too because mine have sagged.
that pic would be a huge help though man
