Dash lights color code question

Hi Guys, I'm looking for a wire to tap into for some gauges that I just put in. I need a tap from the dash lights. The tech library says 1990+ is light blue / red. I have a 2010 B4000, just wondering if that color code is still valid.

Looking at the diagrams, it does not appear to be.

Your real problem is that with the 2010 the headlight switch isn't switching power. It's giving an input to a module that turns on the lights. If you want to tap power to turn on the back lighting on when your headlights are on, you are probably best to tap it right off your headlamp wires.

What I ended up doing is taking the hot feed that goes into the dimmer switch and tapping off of that wire. Seems to do the trick. Now the gauges back light comes on when the marker and dash lights come on.
