I just found out gas mileage figures went down for all Rangers starting in 98. 93-97 Rangers with the 3.0/Man. got 25 highway, wonder what the hell happened?

Thats what mine gets! In the summer anyway. But it is a 93 3.0l/5spd/4x4. I know live front axles were used for a while, maybe that has something to do with it?

I had a 94 2wd, 3.0 5 speed....normal tires. I got 23 mpg, average
I have a 94 4wd SuperCab, big tires, auto....I average 16-17...in 2wd
