I know there has been discussions on the Dana 44 TTB knuckle swap on to the Dana 35 by reaming the ball joint mounts.

And I've seen info on using a D44 spindle on a D35 knuckle that also involves cutting of the brake caliper mounts.

Has anyone ever looked to see if you could use rotors from the Dodge Ramcharger Dana 44 that had the 5x4.5 bolt pattern to create a D44 hub swap while retaining the Ranger wheel bolt pattern?

Those Dodge axles had no hubs at all, they used live spindles with cartridge (unit) bearings.

I also recall the bearings were unique to the knuckles (meaning no knuckles are available that would fit them onto a TTB beam). Their wheel bearing setup has a similarly narrow spacing, complicated by the fact you can't even adjust them in a manner to have them hold up like you can the D35's (the bearings may even be smaller on top of that too). I see no benefit whatsoever here.

:/ And I was hoping this might be possible since I'm doing the d44 outers in the next month or so.
