Dana 35 swap questions

I found a 97 Explorer 5.0 for a great deal and was wondering if the 97 still had the Dana 35. If they do, I am going get the explorer and rip out the 5.0 and the Dana 35 and swap it in my 05 Ford Ranger.

Not really in a rush, but this is a pretty good deal and was going to jump on it if everything was compatable.

the 97' will have a dana35 but it will be ifs the same as your 05' which i believe already has a dana35. Neither will be TTB. If it were me, and the explorer is cheap and has a good motor then i would buy it just for that reason.

Here I thought the ifs didn't come in till 98+ models. I still might buy the explorer for the motor, i was just hoping for a package deal lol

true ifs didn't come into play in RANGERS until 98' but in explorers its either 95 or 96' when they went to ifs.
