dana 35 on 35s

do u think having a welded front d35 with the jeep hubs an 456 gears an 4L motor can handle 36 iroks? sorry to hi jack thread just figured id ask here instead of posting a new thread :)

have you done the drive shaft mod that gets rid of the c clips and uses full snap rings? bc that makes a huge difference

ya i just read about it in the tech library, do the heavier spicers joints come with the full clips? or do i have to buy them separately?

It might for awhile, but your bigger problem is going to be trying to steer the thing (unless you just want to drive in straight lines all the time). If you can't afford a good locker like an ARB, then get yourself an Aussie Locker. At least this will still allow it to differentiate to some extent so you can steer.

And no the Spicer joints come with the half-circle clips. You have to get the 1-3/16" full-circle clips yourself (along with modifying the shafts to accept them).

yeah they shouldnt be too hard to find. i would assume napa carries stuff like that or a hardware store. once i buy my front end parts i will be doing that project.

I think you are still going to be undergeared with 4.56s. Personally I would run 4.88's at minimum, especially if you have an automatic.

4.56s are really not tons lower than 4.10s - I am running 4.10s right now with 35's and it is very painful.

4.56s are good for 33s, I'd go with 4.88s.

well i am going to be rockin 31s til i get money for a lift and rims and tires. i can always rebuild again later. it isnt a big deal. plus if we are looking final project 347 with 35 or 36 with 4.56 will be fine with a manual. and i currently have a manual. 4.56 will be fine
