Dana 30 swap HELP

Hello, i am new to the rangerstation. I am doing a dana 30 swap on my 88 ranger. I am wondering if there is a particular year I should be looking for?

Best Dana 30's are the 95-99 jeep XJ'S. These ate high pinion, and don't have the central disconnect.

2000-2001 Cherokees use the low pinion, and the pre 95 has a central disconnect which isn't ideal for most people. Uses vacuum to disconnect/connect the passenger side shaft.

So, 95-99 is what you want.
