The Dana35 is the only axle Ford used in '91 and '92 trucks.
Of course there is always the remote chance a previous owner could have taken the (more desirable) D35 out and stuck a D28 in it's place before selling the truck.
'93-'97 trucks is where you may see a "hybrid" D28/35, which is a D35 axle but with a D28 differential.
Pre-'90 trucks came with the D28 exclusively.
