daily doubler build

I used a grinder and made 1/3in cuts every 1/2in to an inch and bent them back with pliers
Edited with pics

Before I bed-lined them

EDITED to unclutter this page

Looks good benny. Honestly, I think I'll just cut em and not worry about rolling. Rolling would be nice, but cutting is quick and easy.

Just ordered material for the sliders. Didn't simulate the 2x2, so I just went with 2x3.

Ordered 1.75x.120wt for the wings, 2x3x.125 for the main member, and 2.5x.125 strap to skin the rect. with.

Picking it up Tues, hope to get a good start on them next weekend.

When I re-cut mine after the SAS I don't know if I will do it again

Started the cutting process. Tucks well for moderate articulation. I'll have to massage them a bit more before I totally clear for all scenarios.

That clears perfectly fine in that pic. I took out just over an inch at the bottom and blended up to the factory wheel well at the body line. Didn't have to take out too much at all.

I also got a call from Pewe tonight. I made it into the 'Dirty Dozen' for the UA! I'll get another call in May to let me know if I made the final cut.

Picking up the slider material tomorrow.

Thanks a bunch guys. The phone convo went really well. Rick is a cool guy - easy to talk to.

I don't want to get too excited, cause there's still chance I won't get the opportunity to go, but I'm still very pleased that I've made it this far. One step at a time.
