d28, d35 parts interchangeability?

Can any of the steering linkage be interchanged?

Can you put 28 outer tie rods, adjusting sleeves, etc... on a 35 front end?

I believe the outer TREs and adjusting sleeves are interchangeable, the inner tierods are not (they're longer on the D35)
