Cybertruck Reveal

My tractor finds it, no dog required.

My bush hog cant get enough of the stuff...
Wrong tractor, you can apparently make diesel fuel out of the stuff.

Out here in legal country they have massive acreage full of the stuff just growing under the sun. Not sure what they do with the other 99% once they get the flowers off, must be thousands of pounds, but free fuel sounds better to me than paying off several thousand $$$ in solar panels....

i know how to crack oil....i actually make my own fuel from readily available waste.

but compared to solar.......i would rather pay for solar. waaaaayyyyy easier and cleaner.

i really looked at that copo last year...the tech for electric is evolving faster then i can plan...the truck gm brought to sema this year was titties...and the system to retrofit they plan to sell is insane....

hack that onto a Polaris 4 wheeler and keep it running on the moon where your new cottage will be.

I can't lie, the conversion kits are sweet, but my wallet is not... A battery bank with enough range to make me happy could buy me 25 old Rangers instead. Or 8,500 gallons of gas. I'd like to see what Roush, SVT, Shelby, or even Ford Racing does with the new electric Mustangs and whether Ford Performance will drop a conversion kit.

oh.. its coming. i was able to go to the ranger debut thing with trs and they were pushing the electric shit hard there..last year even more...this year more so....the baby bronco will have an all electric and hybrid capacity as well...and i assume everything will over the next 6-7 years.

Sweet.

More gas for me to burn.

Wonder when electric power hits NASCAR?

What, watch a 400 mile race, and they have to pit after 200 miles...now we wait for 2 hours while they recharge???
Wondering who is going to "unplug" first???
I love watching NASCAR, but I'd have to find another sport, like watching leaves fall or snail racing.

I would think they would have some sort of swappable batteries. or maybe they play musical chairs to determine who gets to charge first mid race.

They unfourtantly gave into EFI around 2012, roughly 25 yrs or so after EFI became mainstream.

So, since EVs have a long way to go before they are even flirting with mainstream, none of us will be around to see it.

Thank god.

Some, or at least one of the prototypes at home have quick change battery paks. The trucks.

There you go, swap batteries instead of adding fuel. Those batteries are pretty heavy in their current (pardon the pun) form.
