cuts out badly when reved up

I pulled the dist a few days ago. and the pick up was loose and the rotor was rubbing on it, so there were filings of metal stuck to it. Then the bottom half of the shaft was loose too, It would move side to side quite a bit. and when I would move it to the side it would turn very hard. Overall it would turn harder that it should've. I almost think who ever rebuilt it forgot to put the bottom bushing in it. The TFI was tested and it showed it was good, they heated it up real good too. I have the new dist in, I just have to put everything back together, but it might be Saturday before i can test it out good enough though.

I got to test out the new dist. I drove it about twice as long as it would normally take to start acting up. All is good, and it seems to run smoother and less under strain, it also quite dieing when i first put it in gear while the engine is still cold. Thanks for the help.
