custom fab steering????

can i just chuck the taper bit up in a 1/2 inch drill and ream it while its on the truck or not....then that leaves another ? what application chevy 1 ton am i getting the tie rod ends from inner or outer and what year....heim joints or tie rod ends....

If it'll be on the street a lot, use TREs.

Chevy straight axle trucks (through '91). I think the ES2027L and ES2026R are what most people use (check out www.rockauto.com, they usually have decent pictures of all the parts to look at).

what thread count are the factory ranger tre's,if i decide to stay with the ranger stuff....

D-side thread is M20x1.5, P-side is M22x1.5.
