custom door panels

I used .050. it gave me less of an exposed edge around the panel

Ok ,thanks, continue as you were.

*in the summer: ooowwww!
*in the winter: bbbbrrrrrrrrr!

Neat burn pattern in the summer though. :icon_thumby:

Winter wouldn't be a biggie with long sleeves though

Could a person put something around it? Like the door trim stuff or even slit tubing?

I need to do something with mine, black doesn't really go with the truck though. And I only need one side...

please fix the armrest, i wouldn't ride in there without my lawyer. here's what i did to my camaro. the handicap rails at home depot come in many textures, finishes, and lengths.

Looks very good...except the aluminum arm rest...shaving the corners is a good idea...but did you know that an arm rest from a Zuki Sidekick will fit the first two screw holes perfectly?

When I couldn't find a replacement for my 88 I tried the one from my Zuki...I'm considering replacing the passenger side...but I'd like to do something like you've done with the whole panel because I've managed to mangle the original on the driver side...

two thumbs up~ :icon_thumby: :icon_thumby:

i am really embarassed about that panel. it didn't look as good as it could have, (my current one is abs plastic to match the doors, with white face gauges)

it was just a piece of 1/8" aluminum that i cut out and used pan-head screws to attatch to the factory fascia. 1/8" was a bit thick and it wasn't cut to fit too well but here are some pics of how i made it (and the ghetto/cheap gauges it used to have)

Anyone use a clear plastic sheet for a door panel? Thought it would look cool
