Curse of Oak Island

Well... I guess the expert has spoken.

Maybe you should just give them a call and explain that they're completely wasting their time.
At least someone recognises it... šŸ˜„

And no, that would be a waste of my time. They wouldn't listen anyway.

Then quit wasting your time being a buzzkill in my thread.

Because I'm done listening to you on this subject.

That's cool, there's an ignore button right here.

I figured you'd know that already being a moderator. Or as a moderator are you blocked from ignoring us like we are from ignoring you? <<Serious question there. Are you?

Now I'm pretty sure that this is an open part forum and any member can participate in any discussion. If you want to restrict to just you moderators & staff, then move it to one of the areas that we can't access. If you wanted to restrict it to only people that agree with you, well an internet forum that you don't privately own and control access to probably isn't the place for it.

radiation is naturally occuring as well. especially deep. one of the biggest issues we have fracking is the hot water. the norm protocals are easily exceeded on many of the long laterals. i suspected this could be a thing that would shut them down the first few seasons.

The real treasure of Oak Island is probably its story. They have found a lot of buttons and nails, but after all these years, they still have yet to piece it together. They really need to pick up the pace, get down there and do some serious digging.

They've drilled so many holes down there the place is beginning to e like Swiss cheese. The last drilling rig early collapsed into the hole. Maybe they are going at this from the wrong direction. Maybe instead of looking for the gold, they need to find those flood tunnels and seal them off.

Anyone else watch this?

I think it's in its 12th season... I've patiently watched all previous 11 seasons and I hope this is the year they solve some of the mystery of that place.
its such a good show tho, even tho its dragged for a while i still watch every episode with anticipation of the money pit being found

I still do too.

Dang. That's what I need to do. Start digging up my yard and jnvent some wild story about lost treasure and make a tv show about it. I'll get rich on nothing. My dog will do half the digging for me.

The "Curse of Eric's Back Yard and its Ties to the Hatfields and McCoys".

Dig it and they will come...

It seems to me that the average American would do just as well as Rick and Marty if they just put in the effort. Get a couple drilling rigs, a metal detector, some diligent friends and family, and you could easily find a couple buttons, a few lost coins, an old cap gun, and some broken dishes in ten years or more.

Lol, a metal detector around my old farmstead. :icon_rofl:

I know I would be too busy knocking down dead and dying trees to be bothered looking for treasure if I had an unattended-to excavator of sufficient size on my place.

I found this little relic when I had to replace a badly broken concrete sidewalk. Do you think it was left by the Knights Templar? How about it? Maybe we should ask the members what treasures they unearthed.
