Have you ever worked automotive retail?

Frustrating...hmmmmmmm...should I pull your license, or your wrenches?

I am having that particular professional experience right now. Some days I want to pull both. The number of people in this town who work on their brakes while drunk is disturbing.

I had an all-out fight with some guy last Sunday because, after working on replacing a single wheel cylinder in his truck for 5 hours he figured out he needed a hardware kit. He was drunk the first time he was in and I can only assume spent more of that 5 hours drinking than working. He got to the store 5 minutes after closing and was pissed because I wouldn't sell him parts.
