Cruse control and horn quit.

I have a 86 ext cab ranger. I just keep it running and drive it daily. Last week I was doing a short road trip and my cruse control would not work? I went to honk my horn and it qiut also? I have not had time to check anything out. Are they both fused together?

My '86 Bronco II had the same problem when I bought it.

Take the steering wheel cover off (the horn and cruise center section) and clean the contacts. The problem in mine was it was not making the proper contacts. After I cleaned mine, it worked without a problem.
