Cruise Control, Expensive to add?

I bought an 03 ranger 4x4 and it didnt come with cruise. Wondering if its a hassle to install? Expensive?

it's a bit of work to install, but the kits are only like $150 or so.

its weird cause when i was looking for rangers, i chose the 03 figuring it would have some option but its a flairside and doesnt have the back slider window. Im thinking this is a base model with no options

I have all the parts as long as your truck is a 3.0 and has the plugs on the harness its a bolt in. You need the clock spring, switches(with wiring), steering wheel housing(back) and the servo.

naw its a 4.0L v6. Im assuming an aftermarket shop should be able to do it just dont wanna spend like 300 bucks to have it installed.

Audiovox makes a universal cruise setup that's relatively inexpensive. Lots of online help for installation.

thanks for the info. I checked Custom Auto sound in sj and they said like 500.00 but i dont know if that meant installed. My cousin use to install for them so im gonna grab a case of beer and see if he;ll help me out. Thanks again
