I FIXED IT!
thanks to everyone for the help.
After everything was said and done i spent about $40 on the crank sensor, $1 on the pigtail for the sensor, $30 on the belt, and $18 on the tension pulley. so less than $100total. OH, and probably 4 hours time to get all the parts and actually fix everything.
