Please be informed that i will be paying with a certified check from my Bank as i just moved here from CArdiff,on a job transfer.I will need the following details to mail the payment later in the day ...
1.Name to be on the payment
2.Home address
3.Cell phone #
I am completely satisfied with the advert and the payment will be delivered within 2-3 working days.** I use a hearing impaired phone # 8099665256 and will receive your calls via email **

Me: where are you located? I will not be able to ship these.

He seems too pushy in the last email. With the check and also saying he just got transferred. Ive almost been tricked before but found out and had a good ol time messin with them. What do you guys think?

it certanly sounds like a scam. most telatype phones will put your conversation on the screren but will also use a voice chip to talk to you in return so my vote is.
:bsflag:

its a scam my friend is trying to sell his car and someone wanted the same info almost word for word, also the guy said movers would pick up the "item"

yeah, what gets me is that he doesnt actually make mention of what the specific item is. its a generic phrase that they can apply to nearly anything for sale.

I had the Exact same email but from a lady. It was for a ford 1 ton dually axle...

I get those emails ALL the time (I have several listings for music lessons)... I know it's a scam because it's so generic and always says something about the item for sale, and I'm not even selling anything :icon_confused:

What they do is send you check and the bank will cash it but a week or so later the bank will call you and say te check is bad and they want there money.

It has a better description on craiglist if you click scams

No I didn't when did that happen?

I answered a Craig's List ad by a lady who said "she'd love me long time" but then I found out she wanted paid first. I think it was a scam.

yea i figured. And his name is tommy shoddy. What a shotty bastaaad. I guess its time to ruin his parade with lots of inappropriate emails.

ill try to find my other email from another scammer. Its worth a few laughs cause they just kept answering them.
