Fence posts as exhaust tubing?

sure y not, never thought of using fence post :)
i guess it would last awhile too...since its aluminized an thick too

do you think it would be harder or easier to bend that piping used specifically for exhaust?

yea, but if you were using it just for a straight section of your exhaust, it would be fine tho

I agree with Z3, if u use it for a straight part of pipe, im pretty sure it would work, lol.

if its square tubing heat it up and twist it ive always wanted to do that to see what it would sound like and it would look kewl, even if it was just tips.

i heard somewhere that 2 inch copper pipe actually sounds amazing its some old hott rodders trick just expensive but at least you can bend it with a E.M.T. bender and solder it :icon_thumby:

Theres a fellow around here he took a old blazer frame (not the k series) and Instead of lifting it just welded a buncha bracing on top of it and mounted an old nissan maxima body. He used 2 inch square stell stock for the exhaust tubing.

the bad thing to bending fence post would be rippling in the bend and that would make it sound bad if you possibly heated it up to a glow it might work but tht could weaken the metal and depending on the type of metal the post was made from it might make it very fragile. but if worse comes to worse like everyone else said just use it as a straight piece
