when skinny is better is if you think your tires are tall enough to actually reach the bottom of the hole you are in. and i guess the concept for wider tires is more traction and it doesnt have to reach the bottom of the pit..... this theory makes no sense...... it makes sense in my head some how lol. idk can someone explain that better?
