In a 1905 case, Jacobson v. Massachusetts, the Supreme Court held that a Massachusetts town could require all inhabitants to be vaccinated during a smallpox epidemic. The court explained that the “liberty secured by the Constitution of the United States does not import an absolute right in each person to be, at all times and in all circumstances, wholly freed from restraint.”

The 10th Amendment reserves to the states broad police power to regulate behavior and enforce order within their territory in order to protect the health, safety, and general welfare of their inhabitants. Significantly, the Supreme Court has held that states can invoke such authority—within reason—to respond to a health crisis.

The Trump administration has even said that gun shops should be considered essential businesses, and stay open through the pandemic.

At this point, I don't see where the government is skating on the edge of Constitutional issues.

This Louisiana Pastor should be locked up.

It's amazing that people can have such poor judgement, or that people will risk their lives or the lives of others, over a temporary limit of their freedom for health and safety reasons.

In the Bible, Acts 20:28 instructs Pastors to "Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood."

This Pastor probably thinks God will protect them. It reminds me of the drowning man;

A fellow was stuck on his rooftop in a flood. He was praying to God for help.​

Soon a man in a rowboat came by and the fellow shouted to the man on the roof, "Jump in, I can save you."​

The stranded fellow shouted back, "No, it's OK, I'm praying to God and he is going to save me."​

So the rowboat went on.​

Then a motorboat came by. "The fellow in the motorboat shouted, "Jump in, I can save you."​

To this the stranded man said, "No thanks, I'm praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith."​

So the motorboat went on.​

Then a helicopter came by and the pilot shouted down, "Grab this rope and I will lift you to safety."​

To this the stranded man again replied, "No thanks, I'm praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith."​

So the helicopter reluctantly flew away.​

Soon the water rose above the rooftop and the man drowned. He went to Heaven. He finally got his chance to discuss this whole situation with God, at which point he exclaimed, "I had faith in you but you didn't save me, you let me drown. I don't understand why!"​

To this God replied, "I sent you a rowboat and a motorboat and a helicopter, what more did you expect?"​

In this case, God has sent the police to save his flock from this fool of a man.

It's time for God to take his sheep and save them.

Ezekiel 34:9-10 Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord: ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will demand My sheep from them and make them cease from feeding sheep. So the shepherds will not feed themselves anymore, but I will deliver My flock from their mouth, so that they will not be food for them.

It's no wonder the Coronavirus is spreading so fast in Louisiana.

Quite a few "models" saying that the virus will "peak" in mid april for the USA in general then things will begin to decline as i understand it untill late may/early june when this thing gets a bullet in it atleast for a while.

Lets hope.
