has any one ever replaced the Radiator support....was changing oil an noticed my frame mount was rusted out. just wondering if its an some what easy fix. found a brand new support for 60 bucks on-line so i might tackle it as a summer project

yeah, but all need to disassemble the front end....the work is about one day if you're alone

There are 27 spot welds on each side, buy yourself a specialized spot weld cutter and you'll save some time.

does the core support come with the body mount brackets on em or is that another piece?

Not on a Ranger, but I have done a core support on a S15 Jimmy (the small one) and a 86 VW Rabbit. Neither were too hard, just takes a lot of time.
Didn't buy the Jimmy one, but the Rabbit one only cost me $35 at the wrecker.

ok yeah... there is no other piece comes with, but yes it has spot weld on the side. but not too hard to removed, just a regular drill bits, if you are able

just cut the old with a sawzall

and you can save time ....

can you just replace the radiator support by taking the spot welds out.
