Cooling A4ld Transmission

I was wondering how important is it to run the coolant lines into the rad? I install a trany cooler from my areostar which is 1/3 bigger than the B2 on that was there.

Your radiator does the base line cooling and the aux trans cooler does extra cooling to keep temps under 190*
