coolant overflow tank

Hello all i am a newb to all things cars but help me please!

I was looking at my overflwo tank and it seemed very low...so i took it out along with the wiper fluid tank and washed it out and i discoverd a huge piece of grass and a bunch of other crap in it. so i washed the crap outa it and cleaned it good and i put it all back together and i filled it almost to the fill line with coolant and then i realised o crap im supposed to mix it with water? i dont really feel like taking it all out again and thne getting water to mix it so is it ok??? i would probably empty it and re do it but i need to leave for a 100 mile trip in like 2 hours! and i dont have any diluted water or w/e its called lol

i dont think it will matter. alot of people run a 75coolant/25water mix, better to have more coolant than water in the system. thats my 2 cents

Depends on where you drive that vehicle. PURE ethylene glycol starts freezing at around 0* However if you mix it 50/50 with water it will go down to about -40* before starting to freeze. So if you live where I do (Austin) pure antifreeze is good for the system.. BUT if you live in North Dakota you better NOT.
So take into consideration where you will drive that vehicle. If round -10/15* is the lowest you will see...leave it alone.

lol how did you guess i live in north dakota or does it say somewhere and im blind lol?

i suppose before winter hits hard i will flush the whole cooling system and take care of it then

ull be fine .sometime its already mixed does it say 50/50 anywere on the bottle?
