i'm not a fan of those grill guards, the rear of the cab looks cool tho. hummer's just arent for me i guess. when i worked at autozone, we sold one air filter for them and they were $70, F that

Not to be a dick and change the subject or scrutinize, but that's an HMMWV not a Hummer. Hummers are overpriced, overrated mall crawlers. HMMWVs are just general badassery.

Hummer H1.... HMMWV's are crushed and cut up before being sold to civilians lol

Still an HMMWV to me. No Hummer for me thanks. I'll take an HMMWV or nada.

in mn, it would be illegal, no front bumper

Thats how those are made the tires just stick out enough you can drive up a vertical wall with those. You know the Ford Raptor is 2 inches wider than those. I Kinda like those grill cover I've always thought it would look badass on a ranger.

As you said...sitting in the parking garage. I know several people who own them and all they do is sit or drive in traffic....comuters....lol

i wouldn't own one, there is no room inside and they are a bit of PITA to work on, and the price of parts is outrageous

If I had one, I'd swap the drivetrain for a powerstroke...Do you know what the life expectancy of the HMMWV engines were (6.2L and 6.5L) in military use?? Just 3 months...
SVT

I would love to have a single cab H1 truck. Just the look of the thing makes me sexually excited.

I would however go with SVT's idea to swap out what makes it go. Would solve alot of it's running cost problems.

Ha. I saw An h1 like that cruizing out in the dezert last year.

I would never buy one though.

Driving a hummer is, IMO, the ultimate display of douchebaggery.

That is from my personal experience with people who drive them.

That isn't so much a Hummer thing, that is a diesel thing.

As far as being posers... that isn't just a Hummer thing. Most vehicles that are proclaimed as "off-road" are just as guilty.
