Convert light bar to skid plate

Has anyone converted their bull/light bar into a skid plate? I have one that is powder coated and was thinking of either bolting or welding a piece of either metal or something else, not really sure what I should do. Any comments would help, thanks!

ya thats a good idea im just not sure where i bolt or weld the skid plate to?? cuz my brush bar is mounted to the frame rails so could i extend it to like the bottom of the motor mounts or something?
