wondering if anyone can help me, i got the 7.5 rear-end, a 85 bronco II yoke(the u-joint part that bolts to the flange) and a 87 Full-size bronco drive shaft, know for the odd-ball part i need, i need a u-joint to connect the 2, all 4 caps are the same size, but, i need a narrow u-joint(7.5 rearend) to the wide u-joint(Driveshft) conversion joint.

anyone who got any ideas ,or part # thats would be cool thankyou

any driveline shop should be able to get you the flange you need; one for the larger u-joint, but smaller flange bolt pattern.

what is the size of the nut center nut on the pinion holding the flange in, want to get a 3 inch spaced flange from a newer ranger, found out the 7.5 has 2 flanges, gen 1 and 2 i guess have the 2.5 inch spaced flanged, and the gen 3 have the 3 inch spaced flange, thought i got the right adapter, the u-joint matches now, but i guess forrd change the flange bolt spacing, so i gotta get 1 of a newer ranger, or swap to the 8.8 to get my shaft to bolt, not ready to do a axle swap yet(havent decided what i want done in the front yet). so just need to know what socket(s) i need to remove the 89 7.5 pinion flange and install the 93+ 7.5 pinion flange. also do i have to use a puller, if so will a steering wheel puller work or do i need something stronger

This for a 1310-series u-joint?

You can get a flange adapter for that with the small bolt spacing (look at the t-case end of the rear driveshaft on any '88-'97 Ranger)

looks like 1330 series from the tech library, so my options are to find a 1310 to 1330 conversion u-joint or swap flanges and run a 1330

You will need to get the new conversion flange (is it really that hard to understand). There is no such u-joint to convert from a 1310 to a 1330. The flange will be for the 1330 u-joint, but fit on the smaller 7.5 rear end flange.

You basically need the FRONT flange adapter off of a '98-00 one piece driveshaft.

It takes the bigger U-joint and mates it to the small diameter flange.

+1 to what AllanD said if it is a 1330.

Oh and BTW, Spicer DOES make a 1310-1330 joint, I have one on the front of my Ranger with the D44. I don't have a pt# for it handy though.

ran accross the spicer conversion online, just gotta find the specs(just says 1310 to 1330), gonna work on the b2 tommarrow a try to get her runing and look at the rear flange, since i already got the 3 inch 1330 flange, gonna see if there is enough material to drill 4 holes and tap it(the centering looks the same), if not gonna get that flange mentioned above, rather run a full 1330 series for strength,

kinda just trying to get her running and setup, been sitting for over a year unfinished, and i am so close to getting her buttoned up and running, got that rear shaft pretty much figured out thanks to you all, last major bump i got to figure out is how to shift the truck AOD i have, and ill be set, but ill wait to get her running 1st and make that the finally step,
