I should bid 2500. I didnt jump on it when I saw it on the lot cause I thought it would sit on the lot awhile, a 4cyl 2wd reg cab shortbed manual is about the lowest consumer choice in a ranger. Fleet rangers are starting to pop up now, auto-parts store “runners”. automatics but Im not as opposed to a automatic as I used to be, still prefer a manual but a auto isnt a deal breaker. ( if only I could swap a manual into the escape though- FUN!)

I considered commenting on the post, “did you replace that leaking rear diff cover & refill it with oil?” That was the only thing I saw wrong with it, the drivers seat was still in good shape, most of the 200K on the truck had to be highway miles. Steering wheel and pedal wear was minimal too. usually by 200K the drivers seat is trash and there’s very noticeable pedal & steering wheel wear. I ran a carfax on it, had been in a winter accident with heavy damage to the left front corner, couldnt tell though by looking it over. these past 2 days have me wanting a/c. Ive even got a shortbed taenue cover I picked up cheap at a yard sale a couple of years back ($20)
