Complete power loss while doing doughnuts

Last night i went out to test the rear end i built and i can slide for like 6 seconds before i lose all power, im think its the gas moving away from the pump but wanted to ask to see if anyone has other ideas https://vimeo.com/135061378

Other possibility, fuel filter.

Try the jelly filled doughnuts...strawberry might clear that up...

More likely centrifugal force...fuel pump and closed system should keep fuel flowing...should...if it starts right up or runs rough then smooths out on the straights then you might need to invest in a fuel damper...if they have such things.

The older ranger with two fuel pumps, a low pressure in tank and a high pressure frame rail mount, had a frame mounted fuel reservoir that might solve the problem.

I use one on my race truck to solve the same problem. This particular set came from a f150. IIRC the years 1987/88 are the ones to look for, rangers too.

Mine does that when I do wheelies if I don't have at least a half tank of gas.

It was at a quarter tank, i thought that would be fine, i went back with a half tank and it ran fine that time
