competition Engineering C2647 shocks, opinions?

ok so we have my sons ranger running now, but it definitely needs shocks. Since we have slicks for the track I was thinking of grabbing some Competition Engineering 3 way adjustable C2647 front shocks. Who has used them and whats your opinions on them? Also what shocks would i need for the rear? I am swapping in an 8.8 Next week along with some homemade traction bars, but cant find any rear drag shocks for it.
