So around here everyone drives foreign. Yotas, Nissans and one of the dodges my buddies own is actually made by mitsubishi lol ( Dodge D-50) i really wish there was some true Americans around here. What do you guys see in your area? i've always dreamed of a wonderland of Fords, Fords as far as the eye can see. And truthfully i would settle for anything American over foreign im not a Chevy or a Dodge guy my self but seeing some American trucks around here would be awesome. Whats your oppinion?

around here you see a little bit of everything. I live in what was once a rural farming community that had a major university dropped into the middle of it. there are everything from 30 year old (and still strong as ever) farm trucks to all electric prius' rolling around here.

Far and wide though, Ford reigns supreme here. the farmers who are doing well have brand new Super Duty's (yes that's duty's, not duties, it's a proper noun in this case) the ones that still remember when they weren't doing so well are holding on to their older-than-me fords. the high schoolers are pimping 80s and 90s rangers, taurus', mustangs, thunderbirds, etc...

The white collar folk really have no brand loyalty, they drive whatever is pretty and "good for the environment"

Then there are the "race car" folks. we have a drag strip and a dirt track here. I think all but about 3 "race cars" I've ever seen here are powered by a small block chevy.

One saturday we tried to pay attention to it and count different makes; winner was by far ford chevy and dodge... Sure we have a lot of yota's and nissans to. But it was mostly ford and dodge actually. This was strictly counting pickups not SUVs or cars.

In cars we probably have more forign ones.

Up here in woods where I live most folks are driving the big Doge diesels, f-250/350's and quite a few Chevy's as far as the large trucks go. Of the smaller ones I see a quite a few Yota's but they are the teeny tiny ones that make my truck look big; and if it's not a truck then it is most likely Jeep. Foreign cars are few and far between up here because they just don't have the capabilities of the true trucks. Around us directly, our neighbor's have Jeeps, Ford's and Dodge with a few Chevy's thrown in for good measure.

True Trucks are built Ford
Ford....Built TOUGH

You need to cool it with the real americans drive american..........

I have a Ford, a Lincoln, and a Chrysler........ would not hesitate to buy a Toyota or a Subaru....

This what I like about America. We have a smorgasbord of everything. You can buy what you want and nobody can make you buy just their products. I own several types of cars and bikes. I would never change my buying habits. So many of our Ford parts are made overseas and have been for years...think about that. Does it matter? That Nissan, or that Toyota, or that Mazda you just saw on the road and in the parking lot or at school, at the local offroad trail, or at a shopping center.....was built by american workers who have jobs. That's what is more important to mean then just someone saying....'Oh!! John Mashburn just bought a damn Toyota Tacoma!!! That makes me mad...he should only buy American!!' I hate when I hear this every once in awhile. Then I point out to the guy or gal who said it......that truck was built here and it gives us Americans jobs. I wheel with a lot of people who wheel and don't care what you bring. We are getting together and having a great safe time. Don't care what you bring....just come!!!

Grand Cherokees are the most common thing I see here. All years. Second place would be half ton Rams.

college town here too, as far as trucks go. we have too many lifted toyotas, have yet to see a lifted rbv tho. or one thats not a mall crawler atleast. way to may lifted dodge mall crawlers too. but as does every one else, lots of old rigs, lots of new rigs.

compeltely agreed!

I do not care want other people drive. My Ford starts every time I turn the key and that is all that matters to me. If you concern yourself with what other people drive, you will need up wanting to be like the Jone's. Hell the Jone's should try to keep up with me not the other way around.

i live in farm and logging country, mostly f-series, then chevy trucks, then about evenly split between jeeps, B II/explorers, toyotas, and samuris

According to the 2010 census, there are about 55,000 people in my town. When ever you get some spare time, stop by and start counting. :icon_twisted:

chryslers, jeeps, dodges, fords, chevys and hondas.

about 20 miles away in ann arbor ( where Univ. of Michigan is) it's like ALL SUBARUS and hondas, with a few bmw's... i hate that place.

Ford, Chevy and Dodge trucks. Chevies are being overtaken by Dodge since they killed the local GM dealership a couple years ago.

There are a couple "others" but they are a minority in trucks, probably about an even split in cars.

I see a lot of explorers and civics in my area
