Cold Air Intake on a 2.9 V6

Has anyone on here installed a cold air intake on a 2.9L V6. Im interested in doing one for my bronco II and i have never messed w/cold air intakes. Could someone please tell my what i need to buy and do? Pictures would be a plus if u have any!

Lookin thru pics my uncle sent me, i see that lol. But i am going to remove it, clean up the engine bay and install a K&N CAI

dont waste your money, the stock CAI is more than enough for a stock motor. not unless your running a MAF setup on a port n polished engine will you see an improvement.

you wont see improvement either way, k&n filters are garbage. The reason they flow so free is because they let in so much crap and dont filter anything

i put an open element filter on my 2.9, it accelerates so much better than it did before. it's not a cold air intake, but it works. eventual plan is to route it into the cab
