coil spring/radius arm/i-beam nut sizes

title says it all... any one know thease sizes for the stock sus.? i ran into a slight problem when disasembling the front and couldent finish!! D= i know the spring clip will be a deepsocket.. thats about the end of my knowledge. hope you guys can fill me in! closest i had was a 1 & 1/8th standard but i know the suckers are metric

The nut that retains the coil spring? It is 1 1/8".

seariously? wow. lol. i jacked around with the socket i have ( its not a deep socket) just used chanel locks and a hammer to get it to where the socket would fit, but once i got it off the corners were fairly rounded.. figured it was prolly metric.. do you think local hardware stores woul carry that size nut? or is that a ford spesific nut?

Just measure one inch of the threaded rod, count how many threads there are in that inch (pitch), and then measure the diameter of the rod. That will give you your size, e.g. 7/16-18 (or whatever it is). At the hardware store it reads diameter, then pitch. Dont look at the size wrench you use to take them off....cause you will have to use whatever they have with the thread sizing at the store.

The "stud" for the coil spring nut is 5/8-11 thread.

the end of the stud that screws into the beam, the lower radius arm to beam bolt and the nut at the back of the radius arm are all 3/4"-10 thread.

thx for the info! got er done last night!, i noticed after the install. i got the rotors and wheel bearings and nuts back on... however when i turn the axle yoke by hand i noticed the right axle (passenger side) stops every few turns. is this common? or does this mean the axle bearings are shot? or perhaps a bad u joint or something?
