So my co worker wasn't thinking the other day (It happens when you work nights), and she put washer fluid into her coolant tank. The car is a 04 chevy venture. I figure that it should have a full coolant flush, given that she has driven a week with it like that. (It IS a methanol based washer fluid) anyhow, Is this a straightforeward job on this car, (I need to see what it uses for coolant..I know not to mix) or do I have to worry about burping all of the air out, or any other little things?

Thanks,

Paul

You should even have to run the van when you are done filling it with the Dexcool, if that is what you plan to put back in it. Look at the coolant system real good and you will find a brass colored bleeder. Open that up when you start to fill it with antifreeze and it will run all the air out, when you see antifreeze the system is full. Then fill the overflow up to the proper level and you are done.
