howdy folks , I just found this site and lots of good stuff here .
My problem is ,I just got my truck out of storage after 2 years .I started it every couple of months but didn't drive it. I drove the truck home and everything was shifting fine , going through town I lost clutch pressure . the reservoir was empty , no prob we bled it and replaced the old with the new . I got all the air bubbles out and it was working perfect for a day , jump in and it wouldn't go into gear? could there be more air in the system or is it something bigger ? oh ya the fluid reservoir hasn't gone done in a week and it works on and off ?
I had it looked at by a local transmission shop and the guy told me my clutch was in pieces and my slave cylinder had leaked all the fluid out , after seeing the $1000. fix price I had it towed to a friends we jacked it up and pulled the inspection plug only to see that there was no oil leaking and no pieces of clutch anywhere ? go figure!
has this happened to any one ? help please !
