ok well i was up at my friends trailer camping an i went to go put some gas in my truck while it was only $1.20 a L an when i was almost back to the camp site my truck would not go into any gear (truck is a standard) an the clutch was really lite and super easy to push.

so im stuck at the bottom of the camp site stuck so i got my friends dad to pull my to the parking lot to let the truck cool down cuz this happend at about 830 so i was goin to be dark soon. the next morning my friends dad came an look at it an said with it being a hydrolic clutch maybe an air bubble in the line, or a blockage so we bleed the line an he was right a bunch of air came out first then he closed it. i pumped the clutch an when he open the bleed screw agaion about a 1/4 of a teaspoon of pasty white cream came out then the hydrolic fluid started flowing real good. so i took the truck out for a spin work amazing. i just left it till today to come home and when i was almost home just at the end of my street and the same thing happend wont go into any gears so im goin to bleed it again an see if that works.

any ideas on what this could be? is my clutch itself goin or something i need to kno asap thanks.

My guess would be slave cylinder.

They usually go out every 80,000mi.

Remove the inspection rubber gromet on the side of tranny. Stick your finger in there and see if it's wet in there. Maybe shine a flashlight in there. If there is fluid in the bellhousing, it's most likely the slave.

ok thanks um what exactly does the slave cylinder look like? is it like a little cannistor?

clutch problems need help

ok thanks well i check that an there was no fluid in the bell housing so we just bleed the system cuz the fluid was black so now it is clear. i can put the truck into gear now but it SUPER shakey tryin to start out in 1st gear an reverse ? could that be a warped clutch or something???

It's probably caused by brake fluid getting on the clutch disc, your slave is leaking.
