i have a 1993 ranger that had a bad clutch in it. i replaced the clutch and the slave. put everything back together and tried bleeding it for about two hours we ended up trying to bleed the master because we werent getting any pressure in the clutch pedal. finally replaced the whole master and got pressure but it wont go into gear.
can anybody help?

im not really familiar with bleeding but i have done motor swaps, this may be a dumb question but, did u get the gears aligned right when u were putting it back together... im guessing u pulled the tranny?, i know that when i do a motor swap gotta have someone turning the lower pulley, while ur turning the bolts to make sure the gears mesh, but like i said im not really familiar with ur situation

i had to pull the tranny. the only thing i had to do was put the input shaft of the tranny into the clutch housing. im not sure about any of the gears. i also replaced the slave cylinder if that will help any

the 1993 master cylinder cannot be "bled" while mounted to the firewall.

you must "bench bleed" it, the master cylinder must be held "nose up" to bleed it.
