Clutch master cylinder

Thanks modelageek I Just bled the slave again after dropping off some parts to my engine swap guy who is putting an engine in my other vehicle. while driving it didnt feel right and after bleeding it again with someone depressing the clutch Its perfect. I need to put something on that youtube video about that.

2 thumbs up. now change your tranny fluid i bet its nasty. these trannys also have an issue with rubber plugs at the top by the shifter. they can fall out and you can lose your fluid so its good to check it. also check your differential fluid. there is not a drain plug just a filler it is on the drivers side of the diff eye level with the driveshaft. fill it so it comes out of the hole.

*the differential gets 80w90 gear oil. if you have a limited slip diff you need to add a friction additive. some peeps say add the friction additive even if you don't have a ls. you can go to the tech section to find out what axle you have.

What type of fluid goes into the Diff? How do I check those plugs do I pull the shift boot and shifter? And what is the name of that pump thing that helps get your fluid in the tranny?

Its the regular 7.5 no limited slip. I will get gear oil and mercon atf after this new snowstorm hits. It just started snowing we got 2feet still on the ground and we are looking at another 1-2ft coming in.

Sooo... all things considered - it seems the system can't be properly bled while still in the vehicle? Correct?

Edit - nevermind - found the tech page. Still - it seems it might not be as effective as doing it outside the truck.
